The Red Shoes: The Urge, The Dance, The Cost
May 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

There is a moment many women recognise, when something inside begins to speed up. A pull, a pressure, a quiet “yes” that wasn’t fully yours, and before you’ve even checked in with your body, you’re already moving.
Saying yes.
Giving more.
Pushing through.
Keeping the dance going.
Giving more.
Pushing through.
Keeping the dance going.
In this month’s Circle, we enter the story of The Red Shoes—a tale that speaks to compulsion, urgency, and the cost of abandoning instinct.
Together, we’ll explore:
• The subtle (and not so subtle) ways we override our bodies
• The nervous system patterns behind urgency, over-giving, and “I have to…”
• The pull of addiction—not just to substances, but to doing, pleasing, and performing
• What happens when we don’t stop… and what it takes to begin to listen again

This is not about fixing or forcing change.
It’s about becoming honest, noticing where the dance has taken over…and gently, courageously, beginning to feel what’s underneath.
There will be:
• Teaching and transmission
• Somatic awareness and gentle inquiry
• Space to reflect and be with your own experience
• A shared field of women meeting themselves honestly

Come if you recognise:
– the constant pull to keep going
– the guilt that rises when you slow down
– the quiet exhaustion beneath the doing
– the sense that somewhere along the way, you left yourself
