Wild Awakening Retreat Norfolk
The Thread of the Seal Woman
At the heart of our Wild Awakening Retreat lies the ancient and resonant myth of the Seal Woman, beautifully explored in Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ “Women Who Run With the Wolves”. This powerful tale speaks of a creature who sheds her seal skin to experience life on land, only to have it lost, compelling her on a profound journey to rediscover her true, wild self.
This narrative serves as a potent metaphor for many women today. Through the relentless pace and demands of modern life, we often find ourselves disconnected from our innate wildness, our instincts, and our soul-self – our own “seal skin” has been misplaced. This retreat offers a sacred space to embark on the journey of finding it again.
Here, we will gently explore themes of shedding what no longer serves, returning to the wild, instinctual self, listening to the call of the deep waters (echoed in the serene landscape of the Norfolk Broads), and ultimately, reclaiming your authentic “seal skin”.

Discover Your Wild Awakening
Step away from the demands of everyday life and respond to the call of the deep waters in the serene, untamed beauty of the Norfolk Broads. This transformative 4-day retreat has been designed exclusively for women seeking to reclaim their wild soul-self and forge deep connection — with nature, with community, and with themselves.
Here, you can embrace renewal, rediscover what has been lost, and experience a soulful awakening in a nurturing, supportive environment where you are held, seen, and celebrated for your authentic wildness.

Do I have to do the Yoga?
The retreats aren’t just yoga-based; all the yoga is completely optional, as is everything else on my retreats.
They’re designed to be a holistic experience, offering so much more than yoga.
We have teaching sessions around awakening yourself, connecting circles, sound healing, cacao ceremonies, and weaving circles, all woven into the experience.
Yoga plays a small part in the whole Wild Awakening Retreat experience.
Please let me know if you’d like to have a conversation about it. The retreats offer a holistic experience with a range of activities, including teaching sessions on awakening, connecting circles, sound healing, ceremonies, and weaving circles. Yoga, while included, is entirely optional, as is everything else on the retreat.
