I'd like to give you a gift...

Saying THANK YOU!

Saying THANK YOU!
January 20, 2014 Charli Wall

Sometimes when life gets you down or there seem to be insurmountable difficulties to face we can often get swept up in overwhelming negative thoughts + thinking patterns (If you read my blogs regularly you will know that this is something I fight within myself.)

However one of the fastest ways we can feel much happier is to express GRATITUDE for what we ALREADY have going for us, or for the amazing things we have in our lives.

I had a particularly negative thinking weekend this last weekend.. It personally makes me feel very low when I have these periods. Lethargic, unmotivated, wallowing, sabotaging. HOWEVER… several things happened to change this around for me today + I wanted to take this opportunity to publicly say THANK YOU to all you ladies out there that I work with.

I am actually very LUCKY! I have created an extremely supportive community within the Cambridge Bootcamps (Both online and offline bootcamps). I am fortunate enough to work with + attract into my life AMAZING women. Amazing women who believe in me, who trust me, who are in turn grateful to me, who give back to me daily without perhaps even knowing that they do. In the last week alone, I have received a hand knitted purple hat, some purple tulips (my fave flower), some new pens for my white board, and a hand written post card sent through the post!! YES REAL POST! These are ladies saying THANK YOU to me.

So here I am saying THANK YOU to you! You are all so fantastic. Thank you for giving up your time to train with me, to those of you who get up at stupid ‘o’ clock whatever the weather to come and have a laugh + train hard in the early mornings, and to all of you who come out whatever the weather in the evenings; to all my lovely trainers who also face sometimes treacherous weather to stand out there + teach you lovely ladies.

Saying + feeling gratitude is one of the simplest ways to re focus those negative thoughts + lift ourselves out of low moods. You’ll often find that the happiest people you know are the ones who have an attitude of gratitude. The effect of reflecting on only your positives can be immediate 🙂 Carry a notebook around with you if you can to write these positive things down + look at this when you feel fed up. This may also help with your happiness jar! 😉

This post is from me to you. THANK YOU!

ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE!

With love,

Charlie x
