MORNING ALL 🙂
This is a Sunday morning post dedicated to all the Cambridge Bootcamps women, both normal CBC and online TribeCBC.
This last block has seen some tremendous achievements + I didn’t want it to pass by unnoticed.. The Rock Your Jeans Challenge has now finished, with MANY of our ladies losing anything from 8″ to over 17″ from their measurements. We have yet to pick a winner, and I believe this will be an extremely hard thing to do as everyone has literally worked their butt’s off, stayed focused, determined + beien hugely supportive of each other. Here is a small sample of what has been achieved… *Round of applause* 🙂
I personally want to THANK Sara Barrett who maintained an upbeat, motivational and daily support line via our private FB group. Without knowing it, she helped many women who have been struggling.. So THANK YOU Sara.. Not to mention she alone lost 16.5″ during her challenge x
Our very own Amy Whetton of Uniquely Me with Cambridge Bootcamps completed her first Triathalon yesterday (8th June)
This had been her goal for a long time. She did it! We all believed she could – she believed she could ~ amazing what you can do when you put your mind to something. You are a real inspiration Amy ~ Really well done x
One of our online Bootcamp ladies Nat has started her very own Facebook page called The NATural Table – She is working in conjunction with us here at Cambridge Bootcamps to provide an educational page, sugar, wheat + dairy free foods, recipes and inspiration that “clean” eating does not have to be boring. Nat very kindly provided all the snacks post the WonderWoman event we had yesterday. They went to down a TREAT!!
So Thank You + well done Nat! You are a true genius in the kitchen!
I’d also like to take a moment to THANK the last two Journey Girls Aby + Rachael. Aby’s journey came to an end slightly earlier than planned as she found out she was pregnant with TWINS!! Congratulations Aby
Rachael has provided heartfelt + inspiring blogs on her page about her journey which you can read about here I will be sad to lose Rachael as a JG.. BUT we will be launching the new Journey Girl pages tomorrow, so watch this space
We had a wonderful time yesterday at the WonderWoman event held at Cherry Hinton Hall park ~ Check out the photo’s HERE
Many Cambridge women from #cbc #tribecbc #twitter #facebook ~ all came together to be strong + determined, supporting each other, focused, laughing, having fun + lifting heavy stuff. It was an absolute honour to train along side you ladies, and be a part of your non-stop hardcore training session for 3 hours! You should all be REALLY proud of yourselves
We have had women gaining in strength + confidence during their time with us both at #CBC + #TribeCBC.. I am lucky enough to get incredible messages like this….
“So, Charlie wonder wall, it’s been 7 weeks and 6 days since I started the RYJ challenge – tomorrow I will measure up- haha actually I know it will be down, despite some indiscretions over the last week what with birthday, and 10 year wedding anniversary in Paris! I have tried in some way to stick to the challenge. Harder than you could imagine with fresh croissants and brioche in the morning and champagne by night. What I want to say again is a massive thank you. For the first time since I was 15 (other than being pregnant) I am the most content with my body, and relaxed in my own skin. There is more work to do but I know it’s possible now. So much has happened in the last 10 years and I never would have thought it possible to be this strong, mentally and physically. I have to say thank you to Sheryl Ann French for a chance comment in the playground, and to Pippa Rogerson and Jeanette for egging me on and telling me it was possible, and to the HRR crew for gentle and consistent encouragement (mrs o)! And obviously to you Charlie with the unending and unfailing support – only broke the caffeine rule on my birthday. Thank you thank you. Xxxxx”
So this email is to also say THANK YOU to all of you. All of you who believe in me, and consequently yourselves. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to all of you who write private messages to Laura + I about how far you have come. Cambridge Bootcamps is now 4 years old. Without you lot I would not have the rewarding job I have, and the honour of working with so many inspiring women.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
If you are interested in coming along we have several locations all over Cambridge, and a brand new block starting tomorrow 🙂
Have a look at our website HERE! although I think you can get more of a feel of the sense of community from our facebook page here x
There is no goal too big or too small! Whatever YOUR goal is.. Don’t let others diminish it!! Whether its getting up off the couch and going for a walk, or a perfect ‘arse to grass’ squat… Maybe a Kettlebell Swing or a 5K run? It’s YOUR goal to bust your behind to achieve… And your victory when you do get it!! We can help you achieve your dreams, all you have to do is get in touch 🙂
Take care ladies,
Much love,
Charlie Wall
